The first photograph from my Transitions, Inc., performance as part of the Radical Presence: Black Performance in Contemporary Art survey of 20th century art at the Contemporary Art Museum in Houston (CAMH) on Saturday, January 18th, 2013 at 2 pm.
On a 60 degree day I had one of the best performance as Tracey Goodman, CEO and Founder of Transitions, Inc.., and the response from an audience I have had in a while.
After the performance, the audience lovingly remained to ask questions and have questions answered regarding Tracey, Transitions, Inc., and race around the world for the next 40 minutes – it was great!.
I want to thank the staff at CAMH, curator extraordinaire Valerie Cassell-Oliver and director Bill Arning for their support.
The “Before And After,” 1991 lithograph was created by Danny Tisdale as a companion piece for the Transitions, Inc., performed. Danny offered t to CAMH for $75 until the end of the run.
Editor’s Note: when we receive a new photograph we will update this post with it.
