Great photograph taken on me during the performance at the Contemporary Art Museum of Houston this past fall was great and Tracey was at his ever love to hate best. The performance was part of the traveling show Radical Presence organized by curator Valerie Cassel-Oliver that heads to the Studio Museum and the Walk Art Center next.

Tracey kept talking about the growth of the market and the world wide growth ahead for Transitions, Inc., “Where we turn minorities in majorities and majorities into minorities,” he said.

The new Disaster Series image by Danny Tisdale is of Malcolm Shabazz, the grandson of the civil rights activist Malcolm X.

Malcolm Shabazz, was reported dead in Mexico by United States authorities on Thursday, a family friend said.

“It’s a lot of pressure being Malcolm X’s grandson,” his godmother, Ruth Clark, said in that profile. “Everyone had very high hopes.”

“I was interested in creating tension and celebration in the work,” said Tisdale.

Danny Tisdale Leads Collage Project at NCAA Final Four Event in Alanta

Danny Tisdale’s Tisdale Studio leads the NCAA Championships Community Programs and Youth Clinics educational collage project which is the center piece of a partnership with YES Inc., the Institute for Urban and Minority Education (IUME) at Teachers College, Columbia University and the Identity Orchestration Research Lab (IORL) at Morehouse College with Professor David Wall Rice of Morehouse College will present “A Healthy Mind, Body, and Community” Youth Day Program to approximately 400 middle-school students during the 2013 Men’s Final Four® Basketball Youth Day program on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Atlanta.
The program will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center, and will provide students from the Fulton County School System with an opportunity to gain a stronger understanding of the benefits of community service and maintaining a healthy mind and body.
