Danny Tisdale’s Transitions At Contemporary Art Museum In Houston

The first photograph from my Transitions, Inc., performance as part of the Radical Presence: Black Performance in Contemporary Art survey of 20th century art at the Contemporary Art Museum in Houston (CAMH) on Saturday, January 18th, 2013 at 2 pm.

On a 60 degree day I had one of the best performance as Tracey Goodman, CEO and Founder of Transitions, Inc.., and the response from an audience I have had in a while.

Danny Tisdale is negotiations with a private press to create a lithograph series based on the Rodney King Police Beating shown at the Whitney Museum’s Black Male show in 1994, the image is from an ongoing “Disaster Series,” and another from the Transitions, Inc., poster.
